U.S. Bank VISA Corporate Card

Corporate Card Alert

U.S. Bank is among the companies whose name is being used in electronic "phishing" schemes. "Phishing" refers to the criminal practice of using spoofed e-mails and fraudulent Web sites to fool recipients into divulging personal financial data such as credit card numbers, account usernames and passwords, social security numbers, etc. By mimicking the trusted brands of well-known banks, online retailers and credit card companies, "phishers" are able to convince up to 5% of recipients to respond to them.

To combat this practice, and help protect its customers, U.S. Bank has provided several resources to help you learn more about fraud, how to avoid it and how to report it: U.S. Bank will never ask for your user id, password or other sensitive information in an e-mail. If you have given out your information, call U.S. Customer Service at 800-344-5696 to discuss it immediately.
